On November 4, Chorus pro Musica, under the direction of Jamie Kirsch, opens their 2016-2017 season with Beethoven’s masterpiece, the Missa Solemnis, at Jordan Hall in Boston. This monumental Solemn Mass setting, considered Beethoven’s greatest work, has been called a five-movement choral symphony. It expresses his deepest and most personal spirituality with all of his passion, creativity and musical power.
With full orchestra and soloists Nola Richardson, soprano; Kate Maroney, mezzo-soprano; Dann Coakwell, tenor; David McFerrin, bass.
