August 17, 2026 by kylejon91 Leave a Comment

Inversion Ensemble and saxophonist Kyle Jones are incredibly excited to share news of a consortium for a new work for soprano saxophone and full chorus (SATB; minimum 16 singers, 4 to a part) by Katherine (Kate) Pukinskis! The work, ca. 25-30 minutes in length, will be composed during the upcoming year (Fall 2026-Summer 2027), with an anticipated date of delivery of July 1, 2027. The premiere performance will be scheduled for February 2028. Consortium members will be eligible to perform the piece after March 15, 2028.

This consortium is available to individuals, independent choirs, and university saxophone and choir collaborators.
