Atlanta Master Chorale, a volunteer community choir, announces its 2021 Auditions for Concert Season 2021-22. Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 7, and Tuesday, August 10. Complete details are available at www.AtlantaMasterChorale.org/Sing-with-us Prospective choir members need not be professional musicians, but singers should possess an excellent choral “skill-set,” including:
• good music-reading skills
• nuanced phrasing
• precise intonation
Atlanta Master Chorale will present a five-concert season starting in October with multiple performances of each concert at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts at Emory University. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm starting in late August through early May.
Atlanta Master Chorale sings with a warm, tension-free tone, often without vibrato. Though our members come from different walks of life and have a wide variety of vocations, many are highly experienced singers and may be featured as soloists within the group.
