All Souls Memorial Concert Featuring John Rutter’s Requiem

October 29, 2019 by Kyrian Corona Leave a Comment

St. Francis de Sales Choir, under the direction of Jeannine Wagner, will present an All Souls Memorial Concert, featuring John Rutter’s Requiem, with instrumental ensemble and soloists. The concert will take place in the St. Francis de Sales Church sanctuary, renowned for its beautiful mid-century architecture and acoustic excellence. Reception will immediately follow in the St. Francis de Sales church vestibule.

Founded in 1949, the St. Francis de Sales Choir is one of the leading church choral groups in Southern California. Throughout the years, choir membership has included singers from the parish as well as vocalists from the Los Angeles Opera, Wagner Ensemble, Los Angeles Master Chorale, and the Roger Wagner Chorale. The choir is accompanied by noted organist Stephen Park, who has been with St. Francis de Sales since 1979.
