Accompanist Wins Community Service Award

Eileen Fields, accompanist for the Pennsylvania Youth Chorale, was presented with the choir’s annual Community Servce Award at the PYC’s 35th Anniversary Spring Concert on Sat. May 19, 2012.  The presentation was made at the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathederal during the concert and was received with an enthusiastic, extended standing ovation!  The award recognizes Ms. Fields’ 20 years of service to the choir as well as her committment to several Environmental and Human Right’s organizations.  Ms. Fields also teaches music at the Upper Moreland Midde School.  She is an accomplished vocalist and pianist and is highly respected by the choir community.
