“A different kind of Baptist” Church invites singers

August 20, 2022 by Philip Barnes Leave a Comment

This is the slogan of Third Baptist Church, in Grand Center, St. Louis, and music is one of its distinguishing marks. The Labor Day weekend sees the resumption of full choral services, and singers interested in joining the choir are invited to contact the Director of Music for more details. . Volunteer places are open, and together with a paid Bass section leader position. The choir rehearses Wednesday evenings and sings at the Sunday morning service. A formal audition is not required. The repertoire covers a wide variety of styles and periods and is always sung in English.
