Hello everyone!
Today I have the pleasure of sharing with you four exciting proposals for choral consortia. I love the idea of a consortium because it represents the essence of community at its best. The possibility of creating music together, of uniting our voices and talents in unique projects, is a truly special experience. If any of these proposals spark your interest, please don’t hesitate to send me an email to inquire about that particular experience. I would be delighted to meet you and arrange a call to delve deeper into the initiative.
1. Gloria – Eternal Unity Mass
I am thrilled to present to you the first consortium, Gloria – Eternal Unity Mass. This work is part of a Mass composed in several movements, with a new movement being revealed each year. This project is a unique collaborative effort, where ten choirs from around the world come together to create something truly historic. My friend, the genius Phillip Swan, is already enrolled leading the consortium, and there are still 7 spots available.
This project has a duration of 10 minutes and is expected to be completed by September 2024. Participating choirs will receive exclusive performance rights for one season and can request score adaptations for their specific ensembles. The registration is in its final days of opening. This could be your chance to be part of a legacy, a work that will unite 50 choirs when all its movements are completed. Can you imagine being part of something like that? Can you imagine what you will be able to tell your friends, your singers, your family?
I know you probably have some questions and may want to adjust the contract to allow for multiple payments or to arrange the orchestration so that your set of instruments fits perfectly. I understand that you need to discuss it with the board members before giving a definitive answer, but just by sending me an email indicating your interest, I will reserve a place for you. We can discuss the details this week, how does that sound?
2. Senderos – Dedicated to Mothers
The next proposal is Senderos, a work dedicated to mothers. This consortium will open for registration in December 2024 and the work will be available in May 2025. Senderos is a very special piece, deeply emotional and full of personal meanings. It is designed to honor and celebrate the fundamental role of mothers in our lives. It is the perfect way to have a powerful theme for the May concert.
Participating in this consortium means being part of a global community of choirs that share these values and want to express this recognition through a moving and powerful work. The choirs will have the opportunity to be part of a project that resonates with love and gratitude. Participants will receive benefits such as special adaptation for their ensembles, exclusive access to Zoom sessions and recordings, and priority for premieres.
Would you like to know the poem of this work? Would you like to know the sound I have in mind for this piece? If you have questions or need to discuss specific details like payments or adaptations, don’t hesitate to write to me. I am here to help you resolve any doubts and facilitate your participation in this beautiful project.
3. Dear Earth – Environmental Work with Poem by Anthony Silvestri
The third proposal is Dear Earth, a piece addressing environmental issues using a poem by the renowned Anthony Silvestri. Registration for this consortium will open in February 2025, with the score delivery scheduled for September 2025. This piece is a call to awareness and action for the care of our planet. Additionally, 20% of the consortium’s proceeds will go towards planting trees, making a real impact in the world.
Dear Earth combines the beauty of Silvestri’s poetry with a musical composition designed to inspire and mobilize audiences. Joining this consortium will allow you to participate in a work that is not only artistic but also a powerful message about the importance of sustainability and respect for nature. Participating in this consortium is a unique opportunity to be part of a global movement that uses art to promote environmental change.
The poem is already written, would you like to read it? I would be happy to send it to you by email. Also, I understand that you might have questions about participation and the necessary contributions. If you need to discuss any aspect, such as financing or adaptations for your ensemble, I will be delighted to help you. Just contact me and we can arrange a call to address your concerns. Feel free to write to me at
3. Credo Part I – Eternal Unity Mass
Finally, the fourth proposal is Credo Part I – Eternal Unity Mass. This is the continuation of the Eternal Unity Mass, and registration for this consortium will open in May 2025, with the score delivery in October 2025. Like Gloria, this project seeks to bring together a community of choirs to create a monumental and meaningful work. This Mass is my legacy to the world.
The Credo is an essential part of the Mass, and this proposal offers a unique opportunity to be part of a work that continues to build on the previous movements. It is a way to participate in something that, by its nature, will be historic. Do you know of any other composer who has decided to unite so many choirs around the world for so many years? Do you know of any Mass that has been written over 10 years? How do you think you would feel being part of something so transcendental? What message do you think you could inspire by being part of this work? You can be part of something unprecedented.
We still have time to discuss details. But if you have questions or need to adjust specific details of your participation, don’t hesitate to write to me at . I am here to ensure that all your concerns are resolved and that you feel comfortable joining this initiative.
