August 20, 2026 by Kristina Valcarce Leave a Comment

The San Gabriel Valley Choral Company, in Monrovia, California, is excited to announce their Conducting Fellowship!

SGVCC’s Conducting Fellowship provides one-of-a-kind professional mentorship opportunities for the next generation of choral conductors. The one-year Fellowship provides an opportunity to strengthen conducting technique, score preparation skills, and rehearsal methods through applied experience and coachings with Artistic Director, Drew Corey.

Program Highlights:

– Conducting fellows are mentored by the Artistic Director and receive individual coaching throughout their season-long term.
– Conducting fellows receive hands-on, practical experience conducting an established community chorus.
– Fellows conduct one piece in each of SGVCC’s concerts (three per season).
– In addition, SGVCC covers the cost of choir membership dues and private instruction with the Artistic Director.
Applications are now open!
Deadline: September 8th, 2026
