National Repertoire & Resources Call for Scores

May 5, 2026 by Robyn Hilger Leave a Comment

Submission Deadline: June 15, 2026 at 11:59pm central time

The National Chairs for ACDA Repertoire & Resources are calling for scores to be considered as part of the 2027 National Conference Sessions, as well as the 2027 Virtual Reading Sessions. R & R Chairs are responsible for reviewing and recommending repertoire to the ACDA community. This is a chance for composers/arrangers to submit scores directly to the Chairs for their consideration.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for scores in the following voicings and target areas:

  • 4-year Colleges-all voicings
  • 2-year Colleges-all voicings
  • Senior High-all voicings
  • Jr High/Middle School-all voicings
  • Children and Community Youth-all voicings
  • Soprano-Alto Choirs–all levels
  • Tenor-Bass Choirs–all levels
  • Community Choirs–all levels & voicings
  • Music in Worship Choirs–all levels & voicings
  • Show Choir–all levels & voicings
  • Contemporary A Cappella–all levels & voicings
  • Vocal Jazz–all levels & voicings
  • World Music & Cultures–all levels & voicings

The conference theme is “Singing through the Ages.” We are looking for new repertoire but also your hidden gems, “for all time”, and your tried and true works that may have just slipped down the radar. This is not specifically a call for new works but new works are welcome.

Requirements:

  • Submissions are accepted from composers and arrangers; Publishers are encouraged to pass this call on to any of their composers/arrangers so that the composer/arranger may make their submissions. Publishers may submit on behalf of a composer/arranger in their catalogue, if they cannot submit for themselves.

  • Submission Requirements
    • Only 2 pieces per composer/arranger will be accepted. You may submit your two works into multiple areas for review but only TWO works will be considered. What happens if you submit more than two? ALL of your submissions will be removed from consideration. Please follow the instructions for full consideration.
    • Your piece(s) need to have at least one public performance. This call is ideal for composers/arrangers who have more than novice experience.
    • Your piece(s) are publicly available for purchase. This can be self-published or through any other publicly available retail source. No manuscripts.
    • ACDA members will receive priority. Not sure if you are a member or need to join? Visit acda.org and log-in to the member portal or email us at for support.

Prepare Your Submission:

  • Name of the piece including:
    • Composer/arranger
    • Poet/lyricist
    • Publisher with link
  • Full Score–either upload as a PDF or provide a link
  • 300 words or less why the Chair should select this piece; Consider providing information like learning goals/outcomes, special or unique features, what makes your piece different from all the others that will be received, etc…
  • Optional: Recording–link to a recording of the work
  • Optional: May we provide your submission to Repertoire & Resource chairs at the ACDA Region and State level? Yes or No.

Submissions open on May 6 and the deadline for submission is June 15, 2026 at 11:59pm central time. Questions can be directed to Gretchen Harrison, National Chair for Repertoire & Resources at .
