Call for Student Volunteers for the 2027 ACDA National Conference–Save the Date!

I am Robert Sinclair from VanderCook College of Music and I am recruiting and organizing student workers for the 2027 National ACDA Conference in March of 2027. Student volunteers assist with guiding choirs from their arrival through sound check at the performing halls, support stage setup, help with registration, and other important conference duties. As a student volunteer, you can earn up to 100% free conference registration for your service!

Here’s what to know:

• The conference is held Sunday, March 7 through Wednesday, March 10.
• We will need volunteers as early as 11 a.m. on Sunday and all the way through the close of the conference at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10.
• You have to apply to be a volunteer and before you apply, you need to know your travel schedule and availability to serve at the conference.
• If you plan to volunteer, DO NOT register in advance for the conference. Wait until you are notified with your placement and discount code.
• The volunteer application will open on January 12 and will close on February 11. You will receive confirmation/notice the week of February 22.
• The application will be available on the student activities webpage at https://acda.org/resources-for-student-members.

This is a great opportunity for you, the future leaders of this profession, to see and experience a behind the scenes look at performing ensembles, directors, and the ins and outs of running a major conference.
