The National ACDA Standing Committees were established in 2017 as a way to serve ACDA members between the conferences. The idea was to create committees that could do some of the work needed to sustain members in the day-to-day. Each summer the Advocacy & Collaboration Committee gathers to set goals and create resources for the year ahead in order to serve the members in that day-to-day. We are thrilled to announce the plans for this year: The “Share Your Story!” Project – and we can’t wait to see what you submit!
What is “Share Your Story!”?
A place where ACDA members can share their stories advocating and/or collaborating. Sharing the story means you can share descriptions, links, and photos, too!
Why should you “Share Your Story!”?
We get asked all the time for ideas for collaborations or ways to advocate and we know so many of our members are actively out there doing great things in both areas. We hope that by collecting the stories, we can create a resource that will help others spark ideas as well as celebrate the work we are all doing.
