American Choirs sing American Composers

Welcome once again to GBW. This week on Going Beyond Words and ChoralNet, Host Stan Schmidt brings back a gem from September 2, 2012….American Choirs sing American Composers. You will enjoy music from thirteen different composers offering there interesting styles. Some of the Composers are Carson Cooman, Eric Banks, Alice Parker, Morten Lauridsen, James Mulholland, Steven Sametz, Gwyneth Walker Daniel Gawthrop, Alan Hovaness and Malcolm Dalglish.  Some of the Choirs involved are Gloria Dei Cantores, The Ooolites, The Oklahoma State University Chamber Choir, Chanticleer with The American Boy Choir and School Trebles from the Princeton High School Ensemble, The Cambridge Consonance, The Esoterics, Polyphony, and The Kansas City Chorale. Perhaps you will find something to perform with you ensemble. It is worth the listen.
