Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to our ChoralNet survey this fall. Our team has been pouring over the responses, figuring out how to incorporate as many suggestions as possible and trying to streamline the ChoralNet experience. From increasing page load times to highlighting more community and church choir resources, you gave us some exciting ideas. We want you to know that we’re working on these items and plan to make improvements through this winter so that ChoralNet is more user-friendly and relevant to you as singers, conductors, composers, educators, and general choir enthusiasts.
Among other things, we are working towards improving the Forums pages (we totally get it: not having the whole thread on one page and only getting comments in the Daily Digest email makes no sense!), bringing back a Composition Showcase and other repertoire resources, broadening blog topics and increasing the number of contributors / POVs, and making continuing ed opportunities in your area easy to find. Our goal is that these and other tweaks to the site will give you a better experience and make ChoralNet the one-stop shop we all know and love for creating an online community of choir folk.
Stay tuned for more announcements about new and/or improved features in the coming months, and thank you again for taking the time to help us know how we can better work with and for you.
Happy singing!
The ChoralNet Team

After posting an event announcement, I wanted to see how many people saw it and could not find that information anywhere. Where can I find that?
Thanks!

Yes–what happened to the hit counter for posted events? It was fun to watch!
Eden Badgett says
I agree, Pearl! Our team is already working on adding this feature back in.
Eden Badgett says
Hi Cathy. That is definitely a feature we are looking into adding so that users can see that info; as arts promoters, we totally get that tracking reach is vital to understanding a campaign’s effectiveness. In the meantime, if there’s a specific post you’d like me to look into for you, I’d be happy to track our internal numbers and email you directly. Feel free to email to continue this conversation if you like. Thanks for reaching out!
