O magnum mysterium by Tomas Luis de Victoria available Sheet Music Plus and JWPepper.
One of my favorite holiday CD’s is a collection of settings of O magnum mysterium by the Westminster Choir under Joseph Flummerfelt. I keep adding settings of this text to that playlist every year. The latest addition is by Cyrill Schürch. Schrüch’s setting sounds more complicated than it is. The rich harmonies are approached and left by step. It is approachable by any good high school choir or more advanced ensemble. Schrüch has practice tracks available on his website. Merry Christmas!
O magnum mysterium is available from the composer’s website: http://cschurch.net/en/order-music/
