A delightful TBB Madrigal style piece with optional words for Christmas. Piano accompaniment. Not difficult, but a lot of fun rhythmically and dynamically.
3. “Si iniquitates observaveris.” Samuel Wesley. Oxford University 41.031
Three-part acappella anthem. Expressive union of music and text. Short, but with interesting dramatic arc.
4. “Route 66..” Bobby Troup, arr. Emerson. Hal Leonard 08551735
Two-part with piano. Easy introduction to jazz style. Delightful for audiences. Fun scat section.
5. “Loch Lomond.” Jonathan Quick. Cypress Publishing CP1046
Four-part. Slow beginning with solo. Lively, exciting end section that really builds. Dramatic, yet fun for singers and audience.
