Brad Burrill’s Full Fathom Five is one of my all time favorites. My high school choirs loved singing it and it met with thunderous applause wherever we travelled. The recorded excerpt begins at measure 35 and gives a great look into why the piece is so popular. At that point Burrill sets the text vividly. One can see the sea nymphs as they ring their bell. This is followed by a much slower section, like the beginning, and it ends with the energetic nymphs singing and ringing again. Two short soprano solos offer excellent opportunities for choir members to shine.
The piece is available from the composer.
