London Dispatch: A Student’s Perspective, Part 1

June 19, 2012 by Scott Dorsey Leave a Comment

(Today's London Dispatch is by Chad Berg, a a member of the ACDA National Youth Honor Choir and a student at the University of St. Thomas)

My name is Chad Berg. I am currently on the ACDA National Youth Honor Choir Tour in London, England. Along with touring the historic and beautiful city of London, we have been allowed the privilege of working with Mr. Simon Carrington. He has pushed us to new limits with demanding repertoire and irreplaceable musical insight.  It is truly extraordinary that we can travel 2000 miles away from home and create such high quality of music with so many talented individuals. Music is a powerful thing. We extend our greatest thanks to KI Concerts and ACDA for making this life changing experience possible.
