ACDA has a new logo – see it here:
(i love it – clean – modern – and it tells who we are without the cryptic initials – more descriptors below)
Here is a way of understanding some of the branding changes:
- “American Choral Directors” is primary, with “Association” being the secondary statement, under the hand and baton.
- The color combination connects with ACDA’s historic past and equity–the blue has been around for a long time, and the gold reflects our first 50 years.
- a new, clean font – more traditional – adds a timeless feature to the new look.
- This logo showcases what we do and how we do it through the icon of the hand and the baton. We are directors–not institutions, or guilds, or individual choirs, or colleges, or churches.
