   I found the list interesting.  (Much that if of interest to me is of little practical use!) 

    

   However, perhaps this serves as a friendly reminder that we can’t assume that all readers know where we are talking about.  In the last 36 hours there have been two posts which invited participation in activities which were of interest to me, but the location was not clear.  One item was very similar to the sort of e-mail I occasionally receive about a local event, and I had to read carefully to find that I would have to fly across the Pacific…:-)
