STB repertoire?

I have 3 soloists in my church choir, a soprano, a tenor, and a bass.  I’d like to find a few sacred pieces that the three of them could sing together, and welcome your suggestions!  The Tenor is able to sing alto, but obviously it should be a moderate alto part.   Julie Ford

10-15 min. Telemann work?

I am looking for an interesting 10-15 minute choral/orchestral work by Telemann (or similar composer) that would work well with Haydn’s “Theresienmesse”.  Any overlooked gems that should be heard more frequently?  Thanks, everyone.

Margaret Hillis: “At Rehearsals”

Perusing the archives, I see that a number of people have wished they could get their hands on Margaret Hillis’ booklet, “At Rehearsals,” apparently now out of print. Well, here’s a pdf copy provided by the Choral Society of Southern California:   http://www.choralsocietysocal.com/Images/In%20Rehearsal.pdf   Paul Buckley

Rehearsing close harmony

Paid section leaders were added by my predecessor so the system was already in place for me. This particular church has a history of difficulty in recruiting […]
