Hi Stephan,

This morning I came on ChoralNet to find 17 pages, mostly spam, of posts in the queue. And have been slowly working through them since 9:00AM.

I am on duty Saturdays and Sundays and Thursdays. I came down with COVID on August 8 and have been struggling with stamina ever since. My autistic son came down with COVID 2 days before I did. Another son has been staying with us because he had a gig playing in an orchestra in downtown Chicago for a new “Requiem for Emmet Til”–he’s the one who brought COVID home, being exposed at that gig. Now four of us are recovering form COVID and doing the best we can to keep up with our obligations.

The day I became so sick, a Thursday, I didn’t have the energy to moderate. I had thought to post here but did not have the energy. It seems there are a few things happening here–there do not seem to be moderators assigned for every day–I’m on 3 days a week and have done my duty through the death of my father and several personal issues I won’t share here–and whatever spam filter that has been in place before is no longer in place or can be bypassed by clever folks who have cleaning services in Dubai.

I will come back to clear the queue a few more times today so whoever is on duty tomorrow can start afresh. I am exhausted.
