My Darling Fellow Moderators,

I am sitting in the familyroom of the house where is grew up and my family has lived forĀ  over 60 years. Next door, is the Chicago 2 flat my Great-Great-Grandfather built. After my Dad’s Feb. 29 death, we are getting this family home ready to sell. I have done NOTHING here today and will probably do nothing tomorrow. I started to but then thought I just can’t. I found my Mom’s music theory homework–one of her teacher’s was LEO SOWERBY–and boxes and boxes of music of all sorts. It’s overwhelming. I sit here filthy and crying because I miss my Mom and my Dad but also because I realize how LUCKY I was to have such artists as parents. And I’m lucky to work with you folks too–so damn lucky! Will be back to normal next week, I promise. ~Love, Marie
