Hi Folks,
I am on duty today–a Thursday–the same day my Blog, Choral Potpourri/Choral Ethics, is posted. I wrote today about my participation in my Alumni chorus, which is singing “Considering Matthew Shepherd.” Spoiler alert–I sing in a chorale at the end. Anyway, I moderated the comments on the moderator dashboard today and there was a remark, asking me to keep my Marxist/Socialist beliefs out of music and blahblahblah. I did not approve but have left it there for one of you to approve or delete because I don’t believe I am able to be unbiased. I don’t think it will add anything to the discussion and it seems *troll-like* but I may be wrong because I am too close. I will be writing another blog about this work, after the performance. I feel lucky to be able to sing this new work and its kinda exciting! Thank you, Fellow Moderators, and thank you for any opinions about this. 🙂
