Since 1989 the Atlanta-based Festival Singers have performed annual concerts to capacity audiences at Charleston, South Carolina’s Piccolo Spoleto Festival. Founded in 1985 as Gwinnett Festival Singers, and known from 1998-2015 as William Baker Festival Singers Atlanta, the semi-professional chorales is now the New South Festival Singers. The choir is culminating its 41st season, the first under Music Director & Conductor Dr. Thomas Dixon. The performance is called most this amazing dayand features a wide diversity of mostly American music. There will be one performance only, Memorial Day Monday, May 25, 3:00 PM EDT, at The Circular Church, 150 Meeting Street in Charleston’s historic district. Admission free with donations requested.
