Melodia Women’s Choir – A Winter’s Welcome – LIVE Concert

November 13, 2022 by Jennifer Clarke Leave a Comment

LIVE and IN-PERSON!

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20 at 4 PM

Church of the Holy Apostles

296 9th Ave @ 28th St, Chelsea, NYC

Evoke the exquisite transition from fall to winter with a concert of treble music presented by Melodia and spoken word performed by a cast of NYC actors, including Abigail Ramsay, Delphi Harrington, and Christianne Greiert. Selections for the evening include poems by Mary Oliver, Maggie Deitz, William Shakespeare, and Robert Frost, and music by Mel Bonis, Katerina Gimon, Sarah Quartel, Michal McGlynn, John Rutter, and Barry Manilow.

Conducted by Cynthia Powell, Artistic Director, with Allison Sniffin, piano, Emilie-Anne Gendron, violin, and Francesca Ferrara, flute.

Although tickets may be purchased at the door prior to the concert, we STRONGLY encourage that they are bought in advance to avoid crowding upon entering the church. Once inside, masks must be worn at all times by audience members.

Can’t make it in-person? Melodia will be presenting a virtual concert of A Winter’s Welcome on December 17, 8pm. RSVP here: https://bit.ly/3tsVyOm
