Livermore, Calif. – The Valley Concert Chorale, the Tri-Valley’s premier chorus, is seeking new singers for its upcoming 2024-2025 “A Season of Change.” Auditions are available by appointment in September. Details are as follows:

The Chorale is seeking experienced singers with sight-reading skills who enjoy singing exciting and challenging music. The Chorale performs three concert sets a season with a wide variety of music ranging from classical to contemporary, and folk to jazz.
The Chorale’s 2024-2025 season begins with its annual holiday concerts in December titled “Christmas Celebration” which will feature Vivaldi’s Gloria.
The 15-minute appointment will include some basic sight-reading, and a rhythmic exercise. To determine vocal range, auditioners should come prepared to sing a short song (e.g., art song, hymn, folk song), in any language. Singers must commit to the season with Monday evening rehearsals held at the First Presbyterian Church of Livermore.
