Harold Rosenbaum, founder and conductor of The Canticum Novum Singers and The New York Virtuoso Singers, is looking for volunteer singers for CNS’s 47th season, and for his youth choir, beginning in September. Harold and his wife Edie are also seeking members for their Canticum Novum Youth Choir. Composed of girls and boys from age 8 to 18, the youth choir has in recent years performed in Carnegie Hall, Radio City, The United Nations, and Symphony Space.
The children will learn a varied and fun repertoire of classical music while experiencing musical growth under the guidance of Edie, a professional singer, and with Harold. Rehearsals take place every Tuesday from 4:30 – 5:45 PM in the home of the Rosenbaums in South Salem, upper Westchester County.
