Tenor soloist/Section leader needed

Tenor soloist/section leader needed at St. Gregory the Great Church, Hamilton Square, New Jersey. Position is for tenor in a professional quartet with a volunteer choir. Must be an excellent sight-reader with a strong voice. Traditional repertoire. Position available immediately. Season runs mid-September through mid-June, with Thursday evening rehearsal 7:30pm – 9:30pm and Sunday morning warmup and Mass, 10:00am – 11:30am. (In preparation for Holy Week some additional rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings). Extra Masses include Christmas Eve Midnight Mass, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil, and Confirmation. Opportunities to cantor are available. Pay is $65 per rehearsal, $70 per Mass.
