Trinity United Methodist Church is a welcoming community of compassion and faith. We are a Reconciling Congregation with a strong tradition of excellent music. Tenor section leader/soloist position open. This singer will lead a good amateur section in the Chancel Choir and will also be required to sing solo repertoire in a variety of styles.

The Chancel Choir numbers around 20 singers (4 paid positions), and sings two anthems at the 10:30 worship service each week, September – beginning of June. Weekly rehearsals on Thursday evenings, 7:30-9pm; Sunday call 9:45am, 10:30 service, finished by 11:30 usually. There is an all-music service twice a year with professional instrumentalists and lots of solo opportunities in our wonderful Gothic-revival sanctuary with our outstanding Reuter organ. We have some flexibility if not able to be at every service/rehearsal. We require very few extra services outside of the Thursday/Sunday commitment and offer the opportunity to use the facilities for teaching/practicing if desired. Pay is competitive and per service.
