Tenor Section Leader/Soloist – Minneapolis

The Chancel Choir and Chamber Chorale of Wayzata Community Church (UCC) is holding auditions for a TENOR section leader Tuesday August 15, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. There are 8 paid section leaders/soloists, and the other seven positions are filled.

Auditions include two prepared, contrasting solos, (one in a foreign language, please) vocal exercises to test range and musicianship, sight reading, and a discussion of expectations and responsibilities. Please bring a copy of each solo for the accompanist. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment.

Positions require:
1. Excellent sight reading skills and musicianship
2. Servant leadership spirit
3. Wednesday evening rehearsals, 7:15-9:15
4. Sunday morning worship 9:30-11:45

The choir also collaborates regularly with Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, WCC orchestra in residence.
