Requirements:
• Strong musicianship, reading and ensemble skills
• Clear tone with good intonation
• Timeliness and reliability
• Interactive demeanor with congregation & with volunteer singers; extension of the Director of Arts’ ministry.

Regular weekly schedule: Sundays, 9:00A – 1:15P (warm-up, Mass, weekly rehearsal) Payscale: $75 per Sunday block; occasional (rare) stand-alone rehearsals $40

Start-up schedule: Thursday, September 8th, 7:00P – 9:00P
First Mass to sing: Sunday, September 11th (usual schedule)

The Cathedral Choir is the centerpiece of a relatively young program of Ministry through the Arts in the arts district of downtown Newark, and sings music of styles as diverse as the membership of the congregation. The Cathedral itself has a history that extends back to 1742.
