Tenor section leader– Advent and Christmas

ST THOMAS AQUINAS CHURCH, located adjacent to UNC Charlotte at 1400 Suther Road in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a tenor section leader to sing Renaissance polyphony and other Latin choir pieces in our weekly Latin Masses for Advent and Christmas Eve. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 with a weekly Latin Mass on Sunday morning at 11:30, and a Latin Mass at midnight on Christmas Eve. Compensation is $25 per hour (avg. $50-$62 per call). Candidates with good music reading skills and familiarity with sung Latin are especially encouraged to apply. Experience with Gregorian chant also a plus.
