Symphony Chorus of New Orleans

Symphony Chorus of New Orleans announces auditions for Messiah, Street Requiem, and more.

Please join us for our new season beginning Tuesday, September 4 from 7-9 pm in room 1-316W (band room) at Delgado Community College. We have an exciting season planned including two performances of Messiah, a reprise of Street Requiem to benefit the homeless through Ozanam Inn and Hotel Hope, and an invitation to perform at the Festival of the Aegean on the Greek island of Syros. We will also do a New Orleans performance of our festival repertoire including the Haydn Te Deum and Vaughan Williams Toward the Unknown Region (the first work I ever prepared for Symphony Chorus and the New Orleans Symphony back in 1990!)

Everything you need to know about auditions is on our website, including a form to request an audition time.

Our singers are the best ambassadors and recruiters we have. Please consider joining us to make a difference … through the power and beauty of choral singing.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
