Soprano Section Leader, Fall Semester

Episcopal parish in Waxhaw seeking Soprano section leader for volunteer choir for the Fall semester. Position would be available immediately and run through Christmas. Duties include rehearsal on Wednesdays from 7:30-9, and Sunday service at 11:15 (rehearsal at 10:15). Attendance at our two Christmas Eve services, 7 pm and 11 pm, would be required.
Successful candidates will have good sight-reading skills, be able to lead the section vocally and musically, and be interested in helping take the choir to the next level. The choir currently sings a variety of music, including standard choral pieces from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as Latin motets.
$40 per call (typically $80 per week).
