Seeking Vocal Scores for Mozart’s Requiem

July 15, 2026 by AnnieGrant Leave a Comment

Item Needed: Vocal scores for Requiem in D minor, K. 626

Composer: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Start Date: Immediately

Needed Until: August 20

Number of Copies: 28–32

Borrow/Rental Option: Preferred

The Prairie Valley Community Chorus, a non-profit ensemble based in central Kansas, is preparing a performance of Mozart’s Requiem scheduled for mid-June. As a growing community choir working with limited financial resources, we are seeking to borrow or rent approximately 30 vocal scores for a short rehearsal and performance period.

We would be grateful to hear from any choir, church music library, university, or individual conductor who may have available copies of a suitable vocal score edition and would be willing to lend them temporarily. We are happy to cover shipping costs and discuss any reasonable rental arrangements.

This performance is part of our effort to bring major choral works to our local community and provide meaningful opportunities for volunteer singers. Any assistance would make a significant difference in helping us present this important work.

If you have copies available or can recommend a source for short-term borrowing or rental, please contact us at your convenience.

Thank you for your time, consideration, and support of community choral music.
