Harold Rosenbaum is seeking new members for The Canticum Novum Singers.
The volunteer, avocational group has announced New York dates for their 2016-2017 concert season and will present concerts in New York City and Westchester. Programs will be:
September 21 at 7:00 PM – International Day of Peace Concert – Trinity Church Wall Street, 75 Wall Street in Manhattan
December 11 at 3:00 PM – A Canticum Novum Christmas with James Adams, Organ and The Canticum Novum Youth Choir, Edie Rosenbaum, Director – St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 68 Bedford Road in Katonah in Westchester
December 17 at 8:00 PM and December 18 at 3:00 PM – A Canticum Novum Christmas with James Adams, Organ and The Canticum Novum Youth Choir, Edie Rosenbaum, Director – St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 87th Street between Broadway and West End Avenue in Manhattan
May 13, 2017 at 8:00 PM and May 21, 2017 at 3:00 PM – The 6 Bach Motets – St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 87th Street between Broadway and West End Avenue in Manhattan
Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM – ChoralFest USA – Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street in Manhattan
Called “an elite chorus” by the New York Times, The Canticum Novum Singers is now in its 44th season under the direction of its founder, Harold Rosenbaum. The choir has achieved both national and international recognition for its stylistic versatility, vocal blend, and expressive range. The ensemble has presented dozens of world, American, and New York premieres by composers ranging from Handel, J.C.
