Schola Cantorum on Hudson is excited to announce its full-season theme surrounding sustainable energy and environment: All things bright and beautiful.
Experienced avocational singers are being auditioned through September 1st, for the 2016-2017 season. 36-voice pro-am ensemble performing full season in both NYC and NJ. Vibrant outreach programs; all solo opportunities fulfilled from within membership; new music accessibly programmed.
Dr. Deborah Simpkin King, known as a visionary, advocate and educator, forms her ensemble approach based on solo-voice technique combined with solid ensemble discipline, drawing forth an artistic product as unique, diverse and dynamic as the individual artists selected.
Four self-produced concerts: November 18/19; December 18; February 25/26; May 20/21. Contracted performance of “Zelda” with NJPAC.
