Requisites: Strong musicianship and ensemble skills; clear voice with good intonation.
Programming: New music of eclectic stylistic mix, surrounding a socially pertinent theme.

Schola is a non-profit choral, advocacy and education organization, focusing specifically on new music of eclectic stylistic mix, programmed around socially pertinent messages. Commitment to new choral music is reflected both through the internationally acclaimed PROJECT: ENCORE (TM) and through commissioning new works.
Founded in 1995, the Schola Cantorum on Hudson of the 21st Century has expanded its mission, its sphere of activity, its performing membership, its administrative structure, its number of performances and performing ensembles, and added a number of unique and innovative programs and new educational offerings — while never leaving behind the original vision of high-quality performance and education — and taken a proactive leadership role in the promotion of new music.
