Princeton Pro Musica, a friendly, adventurous, and supportive chorus of 100 talented members, welcomes experienced volunteer singers into its ranks. As a as a member of Princeton Pro Musica, you will have the opportunity to learn glorious music from the choral-orchestral repertoire, perform in beautiful venues with top notch professional orchestras, and grow as a vocalist and artist.
We design auditions to be comfortable for you and take into account your background. Your audition will consist of several steps:
• vocalizing (singing short scales), so the Artistic Director can hear the timbre of your voice and determine your voice part
• singing one prepared piece – a solo of classical or traditional nature you’re comfortable singing that suits your voice. Please bring a copy of your prepared piece for the accompanist, and one for yourself
• a short pitch memory exercise, where the Artistic Director will play a series of pitches and ask you to sing them back
• a short musical excerpt that you will be asked to sight-read
Concert dates this year are:

December 11, 2016 – Holiday Classics, including a Christmas Suite by Ryan Brandau
