The Philadelphia Symphonic Choir is holding auditions to grow its roster of available singers. If you have previously auditioned or performed with the choir, there is no need to re-audition at this time. All singers will be considered for future performances. These positions are paid per performance run, and performance dates are below. Auditions will be held:
Saturday, March 4, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Kimmel Center – Rendell Room (3rd floor backstage)
Stage Door entrance 15th St. between Spruce and Pine Sts.
Sunday, March 5, 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Academy of Music Rehearsal Hall
Stage Door Entrance Locust between 15th and Broad Sts.
Please send an email with your interest to and you will be provided an audition time and further instructions. Please do not contact the orchestra or the Kimmel Center directly. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a headshot and a resume. You will be asked to prepare the following:
-One piece of your choosing in English, excerpted no longer than two minutes
-One piece of your choosing in either French, Italian or German, excerpted no longer than two minutes
-You will be asked to sight read
-If time allows, there will also be a brief interview

November 16, 17 and 18 – Haydn Seasons
December 21 and 22 – Messiah
May 12, 16 and 19 – Tosca
