First Parish UU Church in Lexington, MA is seeking a paid staff tenor for the sanctuary choir. The church has a very exciting and dynamic, growing music program. The position begins on January 6, 2016. Pay is competitive and good sight reading skills are important. The choir sings diverse music including traditional, classical, early music, gospel, spirituals, world music and other genres. The choir sings from early September till mid June, normally 3 Sundays per month. Must have transportation to Lexington, Ma. (No publice transportation on Sundays). Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:30 PM and there is a 10:30 AM Sunday morning service with a 9:45 AM warm-up.
