The New York City Master Chorale, a 75-member classical chorus, is holding open auditions for singers with significant choral experience and strong sight-reading skills. Auditions for the spring 2017 season will be held on January 3 by appointment. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings in Manhattan at the Turtle Bay Music School.
This spring season includes an March concert featuring Copland, Howells and Brahms, and an April concert at Symphony Space featuring Vivaldi’s Gloria in partnership with an Indian dance company. In addition, the Chorale holds quarterly open mic nights and an annual cabaret featuring NYCMC singers.
