The new score videos are:
LEO: A setting for unaccompanied SATB mixed choir of excerpts from an ancient Latin horoscope, Astronomica by Marcus Manilius. LEO was commissioned and performed by The Esoterics, and their wonderful recording is heard in the video.
THE FERVID HOKEY POKE: A setting for unaccompanied SATB mixed choir of the the hilarious poem by Jeff Brechlin, re-imagining the “Hokey Pokey” as if written by William Shakespeare. Follow the score while listening to a great recording by Matt Curtis (Choral Tracks).
AND THE WIND: A setting for unaccompanied SATB mixed choir of a poem by my father, Flethcer LaVallee Bartholomew, with terrific recording by the Cascadian Chorale.
