New chamber choir in California Inland Empire

A new chamber choir based in Claremont, in California’s Inland Empire, is recruiting singers of all voice types. The Southland Chamber Singers will explore music from the middle ages to the present, including challenging modern and contemporary repertoire. Seeking experienced choral singers who are confident performing in a small ensemble. Singers will possess high-level music reading skills, solid intonation, and versatility in tone production. About 8 rehearsals will precede each concert series. Our first concert–British music, ancient and modern—is planned for early June with Tuesday evening rehearsals beginning in late March.
