Back by popular demand! Marin Baroque presents a Singers’ Workshop “A Legacy: Buxtehude – Bach” for choral singers and soloists on Saturday, March 7. It will be directed by Daniel Canosa, Music Director of Marin Baroque. Rita Lilly is our exceptional vocal coach; she will conduct the workshop sessions for soloists on Friday evening, March 6. We will learn and perform Buxtehude’s Ihr lieben Christen freut Euch nun BuxWV 51 and Bach’s Gottes Zeit (Actus tragicus) BWV 106. Saturday’s workshop will conclude with an informal performance to which the public is invited. Yuko Tanaka will accompany both the soloist and choral sessions as well as the performance.
Advance registration required. First deadline is Feb 22.
Choral singers: 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday March 7
Soloists: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm, Friday March 6 & 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday March 7
