Key of She Auditions – August 29

Key of She is a new Women’s Ensemble in San Diego. The group, the newest Artist-in-Residence at Recreational Music Center, performs
A Cappella, Classical, Folk, Pop, Big Band standards – an eclectic mix of music we love.

We are holding auditions on Monday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Recreational Music Center (address below)

Here’s what we’re looking for:
• Experienced choral singers with music reading skills, good intonation, and the ability to hold their own part.
• Women who are seriously committed to choral singing—and to having serious fun in a collegial atmosphere.
• Developing a strong ensemble sound with 20-30 members.

We look forward to meeting you! During the auditions, we will look for range, vocal tonality, ability to blend, and sight-reading skills.

Key of She is a not-for-profit venture in collaboration with Recreational Music Center. The choir is supported by dues to pay for expenses including music, insurance and performance venues. Rehearsals are Mondays at 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Recreational Music Center is located in Point Loma’s Liberty Station at 2590 Truxtun Road, on the corner of Truxtun and Roosevelt. The rehearsal/audition space is on the first floor in Room 100.
