Kevin Siegfried’s “I Hunger and Thirst” on G. Schirmer ‘Dale Warland Choral Series’

I’m excited to announce the recent release of I Hunger and Thirst on G. Schirmer’s ‘Dale Warland Choral Series.’ This new Shaker song arrangement for SATB choir and soprano solo was written in 2014 for performance at the Maine Festival of American Music, which is held annually at Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village.

The arrangement is based on the singing of the song by Sister R. Mildred Barker, an influential 20th century Shaker who lived at Sabbathday Lake, Maine.
