Seeking SATB (or Countertenor) vocalists for a new octet, performing Renaissance, early Baroque, Romantic, and Contemporary (esp. eastern European, Chinese, and Norwegian) music. The group will rehearse in Louisville, KY one weekend per month, and will emphasize online presence and regional / national / international touring.
Extensive choral experience required. The ensemble will maintain a predominantly straight-tone sound not unlike the King’s Singers, Voces8, Chanticleer, and the Tallis Scholars.
