Credo Catholic Choir auditioning additional singers for backup choir for Celtic Thunder artist

Credo Choir is holding auditions for new members, especially basses and tenors,to sing onstage with Emmet Cahill of Celtic Thunder.
Performance is February 28 in Pasadena, CA. Choir will be singing a 20 minute opening set, and then several numbers with Mr. Cahill. Previous choral experience is required.
Charlotte Lansberg, Director, is also Music Director and Organist of St. Therese Catholic Church in Alhambra.
Credo is a choir dedicated to singing the very best Catholic choral music from antiquity to the present.
Inspired by the late Paul Salamunovich,Credo seeks to return Catholic sacred music from the concert hall to it’s source,the Church.
Credo’s ongoing goal is develop a repertoire of chant,polyphony and motets appropriate for Mass, weddings, funerals and other sacred extra-liturgical services, e.g. (Seven Words from the Cross, Stabat Mater, Faure Requiem.)
The current repertoire includes works by Hassler,Victoria, Pärt, Mozart, Nystedt, Byrd, Liszt, Durufle and Spanish composers of the California Mission era.
Credo is based in the La Crescenta-Montrose area at St. Monica Academy, 2361 Del Mar Road, Montrose, CA 91020.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7:30 -9:00 p.m.
