Conducting Intern – Open position

Nashirah, the Jewish Chorale of Greater Philadelphia is looking for a Conducting Intern for the 2018-2019 season. https://www.nashirah.org/

Rehearsals are taking place on Sundays between 6:15 and 8:15 PM in Curtis Institute of Music in the Center City of Philadelphia.

Conducting Intern will have an opportunity to direct rehearsals, as well as conduct during concerts. He or she will be offered extensive experience in managing rehearsals and performances, as well as working with the artistic director on programming and planning rehearsals.

Conducting intern’s responsibilities will include: taking attendance, helping with music orders, singing, managing social media and producing one concert at the end of the year.

There will be a small stipend offered.
